What is TIG Welding?

TIG welding (GTAW) uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode and an inert gas, usually argon, to form a precise arc that melts the base metal. It delivers high-quality, clean welds with excellent control and minimal spatter, ideal for thin materials and metals such as aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium.
